Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment
At John C. Hadjipateras & Sons Ltd., we are committed to operating in accordance with the highest standards of safety. We ensure that the vessels are always compliant with national and international regulations and all relevant standards and guidelines. We provide top quality services that meet and wherever possible exceed safety, environmental and client requirements. Internal audits, inspections and reviews are carried out regularly to verify absolute compliance.
The reliable link between ship and shore ensures a high level of quality is attained and maintained, providing complete compliance and safety whilst ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of vessels for owners and charterers.
Caring for crew
We have always taken pride in looking after the welfare of our crew and personnel, ensuring that they are provided with support in every respect. For newbuilding projects and second-hand acquisitions, we pay particular attention to the human element, so as to provide a safe and comfortable living and working environment on board. We have evidence that this ethos, combined with strong and direct links to the shore-based team, does result in better productivity.
It is no coincidence that a pool of well-trained, qualified and motivated crew members has been established over many years, with many seafarers requesting to serve multiple times. In 2012, the requirements of the IMO’s Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006) were seamlessly incorporated into the company’s Safety Management System, and we always seek to go further in ensuring the highest standards of safety at sea and ashore.
All vessels under our agency are certified according to:
